Hello and welcome to Ranger's and my page.
I'm Shenae Kuhnau and Ranger is my beloved Frenchie.
I have been attending AKC dog shows with my
mom since the age of 8. My interest in handling
grew with each show I attended. I began handling
classes and was handling one of our Boxers in
my first show at the age of 10. After a number
of breed ring competitions, I started competing
in Junior Handling, but would still help out
in the breed ring. After a few shows, I moved
from a Novice Junior to an Open Junior. As years
passed, I moved to Open Intermediate and Open
Senior.
At the age of 12 I was introduced to the breed
of French Bulldogs by a dear friend of my mother's
and mine, Karen Churchill of SumFun French Bulldogs.
Ranger was a gift for my 8th grade graduation.
I quit competing in Junior Handling to focus
on showing Ranger. Ranger became an AKC Champion
a little over a year later in August of 2004.
Ranger is now 5 years old and focuses on stealing
bones, sun-bathing, snuggling up for a good
movie with his best buddy (that's me!), and
occasionally making appearances at dog shows.
We love our little man, however he's quite convinced
that he's just as large and in charge as our
boxers.
As of now, I'm continuing to be of assistance
to my mom in the Boxer ring and being her main
source of entertainment on our long road trip
to new show locations!
I also want to say thank you to Karen, Elsie,
and Norma of SumFun French Bulldogs for trusting
me with the love and care of Ranger! |
